Who needs Rainforest Alliance supply chain certification?
Companies that buy, process, pack or trade certified products and want to sell them as certified or use the seal. The rules for using the seal are set by Rainforest Alliance.
Which products does it cover?
Mainly cocoa, coffee, tea and fruit, among other agricultural products. The exact scope depends on your product.
What is a mass balance?
It is the control that ensures the volume sold as certified does not exceed the certified volume bought. I help define and control the mass balance in a simple way.
Does an internal audit replace the certification audit?
No. The certification audit is carried out by an independent and accredited certification body. The internal audit prepares the company for it.
